Claire Fleigel Bussard is an award-winning executive search consultant with 11 years of experience in executive recruitment at a Forbes Top 5 nationally ranked firm in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining this firm, she spent over 10 years within human resources and operations with a middle-market, private equity owned company and a start-up.
As one of the original members for one of the fastest growing companies in Dallas, Claire knows the importance of having the right talent in the right place. She helped grow the start-up to over $100 million in revenue over five years, hiring in excess of 200 employees.
Transitioning into executive search in 2010, Claire has achieved successful placements at companies ranging from Fortune 500 publicly traded, to fast growing, private equity, privately held, and venture capital backed start-ups. During her tenure at the nationally ranked executive search firm, Claire earned numerous top performance awards such as eleven year President’s Club award recipient, was ranked in the top 1% of the company ten out of eleven years, and won Top Ranked Recruiter in the company out of over 600, multiple times.
Claire understands the importance of teamwork and development as well. She was selected to be part of the mentor group established to assist in the onboarding of inexperienced incoming recruiters and led multiple trainings on different aspects of executive search and industry trends. Her strengths are her tireless work ethic, savvy business knowledge, and dedication to her clients. She expertly advises executives, stakeholders, and key decision makers at all levels to best hiring practices, by developing recruiting and succession strategies for their talent acquisition teams and managers. As an executive search consultant, Claire specializes in placing finance and accounting professionals within middle market private equity firms, private equity owned portfolio companies, family offices, hedge funds, and high growth privately held and publicly traded companies across a variety of industries.
Outside of the office, Claire is an active member of The Women’s Auxiliary to the Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, and a proud member of the alumni group of her alma mater, University of Florida, a top tier university. She lives in Highland Park and enjoys spending time with her husband and two spirited young boys, within whose school she is active, serving on Parent Council as Chairperson of one of the committees and in their school activities. When time permits, she enjoys gourmet cooking, party planning, and traveling internationally.
