Elaine is a skilled bilingual executive search professional, with over 15 successful years in the recruitment business, placing Accounting and Finance professionals across all industries.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Elaine graduated with a double major in Finance and International Business from Florida State University. After graduation, she joined a Fortune 50 company as a Financial Analyst and quickly established herself in the financial world. Elaine mastered different facets of the industry, developing strong relationships with top company executives and industry leaders along the way. As a self-described “connector”, Elaine found her relationship building skills combined with her financial savvy made a transition into the world of recruiting a natural fit with the competitive advantage of having been on the “other side of the desk”.
In 2004, Elaine made the bold move and was selected to join a Forbes Top 5 nationally ranked executive search firm in Dallas, Texas. Throughout her 15 years with the firm, she built lasting, trusted relationships and became the go-to business partner for clients spanning start-ups, private equity owned, and the Fortune 100. She has successfully placed Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit, and Treasury professionals across all industries and was one of the longest tenured partners within the firm. A strong performer, Elaine was quickly promoted and was one of the first senior recruiters selected to become a Team Lead and mentor to inexperienced incoming recruiters. She was consistently recognized for her outstanding performance and received numerous awards including President’s Club, Sterling Club, and Platinum Elite -an award given to the top 10% of recruiters nationally. She was also nominated for the Special Contributor Award.
Elaine’s strength lies in her exceptional ability to develop strong relationships by listening to the needs and goals of her clients, thus creating long-standing loyalty and confidence in her. Having worked in finance, Elaine truly understands the world she recruits in, and the demands placed on her clients and candidates. Being fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Elaine is able to bring an international approach to her global clients.
When she is not helping people find the perfect fit, her number one priority is her family. She resides in Southlake with her husband Trent, their two children, Brooke and Blake, and their rambunctious goldendoodle puppy. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at school events, cheering on her children in sports, perfecting her delicious Charcuterie boards, and traveling with her family.
