Joevelle Formaran is an Associate Search Consultant at Ascension Search Partners, focused on recruiting Accounting and Finance leaders across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. She combines a background in recruiting and project management with training as a licensed psychometrician, bringing a structured, people-first approach to every search. Joevelle partners with growth-minded organizations—from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies—to hire managers, directors, and controllers who blend technical rigor with measurable business impact.

Prior to rejoining Ascension Search Partners, Joevelle served as an Account Manager at Mission Recruit and earlier as an Executive Recruiter with Iowa Career Connection, experiences that sharpened her understanding of client needs across industries and company stages. Earlier in her career she co-led a research and operations program, building the process discipline she leverages in complex, fast-moving searches.

She holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Counselor Education and is known for a collaborative, consultative style—listening closely to what motivates candidates and aligning those motivations with her clients’ strategic goals.

Outside of work, Joevelle enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading classic fiction—Pride & Prejudice is a favorite—and catching live music.
