With over 15 years of diverse experience in finance and executive recruitment, Joy D’Costa has built a robust career defined by leadership, strategic management, and a commitment to excellence. Currently serving as a Senior Executive Search Consultant at Ascension Search Partners, Joy leverages her extensive background in accounting & finance to place top-tier financial executives, including Controllers, VPs of Finance, and CFOs, in the Dallas Fort Worth market.

Prior to this role, Joy spent seven years at one of the largest and fastest growing publicly traded recruitment companies in the U.S., where she progressed from Senior Recruiter to Managing Director of Accounting & Finance. During her tenure, she successfully managed recruiting operations, built strong client relationships, and contributed to the growth and development of the finance division.

Joy’s earlier career includes significant roles at a leading global management consulting firm, where she held various positions such as Controller and Global Finance Shared Services Leader. These roles involved financial oversight, SAP ERP implementation, and managing international finance teams in both India, the U.K. and the U.S. After graduating with her degree in Accounting, Joy earned her ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in the UK.

Joy lives in North Dallas with her husband Malcolm. Outside of work, Joy enjoys slow travel, getting lost in the pages of fiction or an art house film, and experimenting with new recipes.
