Lucy Lorenzo is a seasoned executive search professional with nearly 20 years of experience in recruitment. Before co-founding Ascension Search Partners in 2020, she worked for both a global, publicly traded search firm in Japan and a Forbes Top 5 ranked national search firm based in Dallas, Texas.

A native of the UK, Lucy spent several years at Tokyo’s largest foreign-owned recruitment firm, where she specialized in placing Accounting and Audit professionals within the financial services sector, including investment banks, hedge funds, and insurance companies. After relocating to the USA in 2009, Lucy continued to focus on Accounting and Finance recruitment for Fortune 500 and middle-market clients across various industries. She is a ten-time President’s Club award recipient and has received numerous accolades, including Platinum Elite (top 10% of the company). Before transitioning to executive search, Lucy worked for The Walt Disney Company in Paris, France.

Lucy’s extensive experience across Europe, Asia, and North America equips her with a global perspective on talent acquisition. She brings a deep understanding of international business dynamics and corporate cultural nuances to her work. Known for her methodical and thorough approach, Lucy leverages cutting-edge technologies to achieve exceptional results for both clients and candidates.

Outside of her professional life, Lucy serves as the Regional Alumni Leader for her alma mater King’s College London, ranked among the top 35 universities globally. She is also actively involved in her local community, currently serving on the PTA. In her free time, Lucy enjoys studying Spanish, visiting family in England and Argentina, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
